This Saxon project has been (for the most part) based on material found in Worcestershire provided by The Historic Envoronment and Archaeological Service of the County Council (housed on University College Worcester campus). Thanks to the following people at The Historic Envoronment and Archaeological Service of the County Council:-  Malcolm Atkin, Deborah Overton, and Dean Crawford for images of artefacts.

Special thanks to David Kendrick at The Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle for all his help and support by providing images and information.

To enrich the site still further we have included images of buildings and artefacts from the West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village in Bury St Edmund's Suffolk.  Thanks to the museum curator for their permission to photograph the exhibits. This centre (although a long way from Worcestershire) would make a worthwhile school visit.

Thanks also to the following museums for providing additional material : -
Worcester City Museum and Art Gallery (Tim Bridges et al)
The Almonry Museum, Evesham (Gerald Heath et al)
